Wing commander (best movie ever made)

I was wondering if anyone knows about a compleated HW2 wing commander Mod

Anyway the movie was good for a low budget movie ....they can do better

Well, the games are definately in my list of alltime favourites.

The movie was also not bad, although I don't think anyone could play Maniac as well as Tom "Biff" Wilson

The story of the movie could've been a bit better and I would've liked to see more of the Kilrathi, but maybe that was planned for the sequel.

 

Speaking of sequels, let's all say thanks to EA for buying Origin and cancelling the Wing Commander series altogether

Yeah, I've seen it - it's not bad as a Sci-Fi flick where things go boom in space - but disappointing from perspective of the Wing Commander game series

Never played a game about Wing Commader, although I have heard of it. But the movie is quite good, considering it's a B-movie. I think they could have done better, but with all fairness it was enough to make me finish it.

Well, from seeing our reactions to your first post I gather, that none of us knows about this HW2 mod.

If you didn't find anything under the link, that Evaders has posted and if nothing came up on a google search,

then I doubt, that someone is making one. But if you do see a link for it, be sure to post it here. There'll be quite a few, who will download the mod

Well, that's what I thought it was about. And I never even played the games.

 

Mathew Lillard was pretty good in it, but the rest of the acting, especially Freddie Prinz Jr., was pretty bad. The ships were alright, but the starfighters...? They looked like someone took a WWII-era P-47 and glued on odds & ends to make it look like a 'futuristic' fighter.

 

And before I'm shouted at, I have no idea if there are any mods of this series for any game.

Yeah, I actually thought the fighters resembled a MIG. I am not too accurate with pre cold war fighter aircraft names, but I know it looked similiar to one of the MIG versions.
