the_mask
Scathe, you didn't know that ?It was in the Bounty Hunters series, although I don't recommend reading them, since they were mostly awful http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
Which series was that, Talse of the Bounty Hunters or the Bounty Hunter Wars? I wasn't too impressed with the former but I didn't mind the latter. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
Trejiuvanat
It was in that Bounty-Hunter-Wars Trilogy, that deserves to get thrown into the Sarlacc, though the bad writing might give the Sarlacc some 1000 year long indigestion. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Mad78
It's true that that series was far from being one of my favorite I must admit that a story where the hero is Boba Fett can't be tht bad. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Trejiuvanat
It can and it was...  AS I stated above I've never taken much interest in them, their just part of the scenography in the movies and in the books (The Unifying Force makes clear how small roles are better for them), coming up with a really interesting for them is pretty hard, because most of thier charm is to be mysterious. If you write a trilogy of books about them you'll take some of the mystery out of them, and they'll fill you with lots of details you didn't need to know. (Bossk alimentary habits, for instance). Some opinions on the bounty hunters...  Jango: Pretty boy, with nothing but two shiny blasters. He could have done more.  Boba: Probably the coolest of the lot, still there's something I don't like. Could it be that girly scream in ROTJ? IG-88: I like him more than the droids in the prequels, from Vader's bount hunter group he was the most interesting, excepting Boba. May have needed some few moments of extra screen time.  Dengar: Um... Ugly fella, does nothing.  Bossk: He ate his own father, need I say more. Ugly lizard.  Aurra Sing: I'm not a fan of the prequels, nor the prequel-era EU, and her role in ep I is almost non-existent. A force-sensitive Bounty Hunter, that might have been better suited for the useless bounty hunter of ep ii instead of...  Zam Wessell: Uninteresting, tries to kill padme and fails. Waste of screen time. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Mad78
You forgot to talk about Zuckuss. One thing I really didn't like with that book serie was that the Author kept jumping from era to era which tends to be quite confusing and gives the impression that he didn't have anought imagination to fill in the different parts. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Trejiuvanat
Um Zuckuss, yeah: Beats Bossk for the ugly alien award, and he joins with 4-lom who is the runner-up for mediocre droid bounty hunter... Â Yes that jumping around was annoying... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
Mad78
Was 4-LOM that protocole droid who became bounty hunter? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Palpycard.gifhttp://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a359/Mad78/Spamkinguserbarcopy.jpgCLICK HERE IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!Click here is you like Trance
Trejiuvanat
Which is possibly the worst idea for the origin of a bounty hunter... But, yes he is... http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
ADarkJedi44
Wow a protocol droid turned bounty hunter....That's ermm intresting. How does he change so dramatically? Anyways, IG-88 probably would have been considered the coolest if he had been given more time. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel

Anyways, IG-88 probably would have been considered the coolest if he had been given more time. 4-LOM tried to get the job as the prissy protocol in a holomovie that a Hutt by the name of Georgie the Hutt wanted to make.  Georgie the Hutt quickly got tired of 4-LOM (the poor droid kept criticizing Georgie the Hutt's galaxy-(in)famous flannel collection) and decided to throw him to the Rancor, when it fell 4-LOM hit his head and became evil.  He got out and swore to kill Georgie the Hutt, when he was about to, Georgie offered him a job and some minor screen time. So 4-LOM got his role in ESB, and now works happily for Georgie the Hutt in Lucasarts's Customer Support. http://www.swrebellion.com/~jahled/Trej/banner.gif
ADarkJedi44
Sounds better than anything George Lucas would come up with, but then again there isn't much competition there. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Mad78
I can imagine him capturing someone:"Excuse me sir could you please throw down your weapon and follow me. Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
I'm not a big fan of IG-88. The whole story about his (rather THEIR) origin is sort of far fetched. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.
ADarkJedi44
Well yes, but if he was given more developing and whatnot he certinatly would have been popular. He just wasn't given enough attention. Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
That's true, but the five of them being everywhere that something important happened was a bit much. Guest Admiral_Antilles
That is the goodies must win syndrome. I agree, Mad. There is a sickness in the Star Wars universe that is the goodies must win syndrome. Which has only recently been cracked by the NJO series. ADarkJedi44
Syndrome in the Star Wars universe? You do mean in like every book or movie right? Yes they lost a little in the NJO, but in end they won big.All of the Vong surrendered...I find that a little far fetched.
