Human ambition be put aside? Well that's not happening any century soon....

Like Thrawn said, the Swiss were right and wrong. They saved many of their people, but they failed to fight for the greater good.

And I agree with Antilliles, there will always be a need for the army.

I actually agree with you as well. I consider that as long that each country has a leader there will always be one who will want a bit more than he has. It is for that reason that armies are necessary for defence. I don't mean they do not serve for attackbut you will have problems defending yourself if you don't have a trained millitary force.

I must also say I agree with Jahled about the US. I am going to speak frankly. I kinda think Bush is playing right into Ben Laden's hand. They say he is beaten but he has succeded in making just about the entire US governement paranoiac. Now I do not wish to start a political discussion about the US so please don't.

And just for the info. Switzerland DOES hve an army. And ever swiss has to do millitary service.

Maybe the new server had something to do with it... :?

It's not too bad. You just can't see all of the finer details of my fantastic uniform.

Mine looks a bit scrambled, but otherwise okay.

Just the background looks a bit scrambled I think. Other than that, it did not really effect my avatar much.

The nice little knife at my one side, and the lightsaber at the other. Actually, I'm looking for a better, more authentic avater, but I'm not artistic enough to come up with one, and I don't like any of the pictures of Thrawn available out there.

Maybe he liked the artistic values of the weapon.

It's there from the old forums when there were Jedi masters, a Jedi Council, and force use in the RPG. Myself and JediIgor were two of the Jedi Masters, and we each had an apprentice. I've never taken the time to remove it from the image.

Oh, cool. I wonder if that Creation of the Force forum that none use will revive it?

Maybe. My apprentice was actually here for a while Scathene or something. No, that's not it... he was named after that assassin from Kessel... who's name eludes me...

Edit: Skynxnex was his name, I believe. Sorry Scath

Lol. Like Trej said, it was for the RPG. Plus they had limited powers for the Jedi Council.

At the time it was based on the community power structure. Evaders, JediIgor, Grand Moff Conway, Jim Stratus, and My self were all masters, though only me and Igor took on apprentices.
