Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
Oops, double post. Blitzkrieg? Hmmm... it's a lot of stuff moving realy quickly to take over enemy territory... History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all. Guest Admiral_Antilles
Well, darky you start with a nice large post to enlighten the few of us who do not have the wealth of information in our heads relating to WW2. Y-Wing
ADarkJedi44
Not the tactic of blitzkreig, I meant like the invasion of Poland, France and the low countries. B-29 Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Guest Admiral_Antilles
Well it's not as if we can really discuss France. It was really more like corssing the border, then an invasion. They did not have to really fight anyone to control France.
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
Erm, they got invaded? What more is there to say? History is on the move, Captain. ADarkJedi44
Same thing with the invasion of Italy, the Italians didn't fight but the Germans were forced to The british fought to defend France, but then there was Dunkirk....U-boat Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Guest Admiral_Antilles
If America had not participated in WW2, meaning that Pearl Harbor never occured. How long do you think it would have been before England fell?
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
Did you know that it was at Dunkirk that the last combat death by use of Bow and Arrow occurred? History is on the move, Captain. ADarkJedi44
England was not the main front then, Russia was. Without America the Eastern front might have become a stalemate, with eventual Russian victory perhaps. What would Japan do in your situation? Guest Admiral_Antilles
So even if Hitler had controlled all of Europe he would have let the English stay in power?
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
A British Engineer used it. He took out a Wermarch soldier. Not too sure how it happened though, I just read it somewhere. ADarkJedi44
Well without American involvement, the war would have lasted longer and perhaps the U-boats would strangle England.... Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel
Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
He didn't really want to invade England because he had no problem with them. He had originally wanted them to stay out of the war. If he had taken all of Europe, he would have let them be. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. Guest Admiral_Antilles
Huh, that is an interesting thing, indeed. I bet it was odd to see all those men dead by gunshot wounds and then see this one guy with an arrow in him.
ADarkJedi44
Hehe yeah that's good to know. His original goal was to crush communisim and whatnot, but if England continued to hinder him..... Sweat saves blood-Erwin Rommel

Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
I'll post on the RPG tomorow when I have more time. Hitler only eliminated the surface ship aspect of the Kriegsmarine. Grand Admiral Dönitz (who, by the way, is my second most favourite person) was placed in command of the Navy because he was a U-Boat master. If they attacked Japan the surface navy would have been put back into use and Raeder would probably have been placed back in command. They still had the Prinz Eugen, the Bizmarck's sister ship. She would have proven the equal of the Yammato. History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. ADarkJedi44
The Bismarck's sister ship was the Tirpitz, which was sunk by the British. The German surface arm was rather pitiful actually. The Japenese Imperial Navy would have easily sunk it. It didn't even have any aircraft carrier while the Japenese had many and two super battleships.Who's your favorite person, Rommel? The problem with the u-boats was that the newer models never came into service and that the Luftwaffe didn't support them. ADarkJedi44
I can wait on the RPG thing, just wanted to mention it By the way, there was a joint Axis attacked planned against India, but the Japenese were soon busy with the US and the Germans with Russia.
