Grand Admiral Dönitz (who, by the way, is my second most favourite person) was placed in command of the Navy because he was a U-Boat master. If they attacked Japan the surface navy would have been put back into use and Raeder would probably have been placed back in command. They still had the Prinz Eugen, the Bizmarck's sister ship. The Japenese Imperial Navy would have easily sunk it. It didn't even have any aircraft carrier while the Japenese had many and two super battleships.Who's your favorite person, Rommel?
