It can be accessed at irc.swcic.net. Soon you can also access it via irc.starwars-irc.net (irc.swrebellion.com). You can access the chat network's website by visited http://www.swcic.net (new: https://starwars-irc.net) The Channel reserved for our community is #swrebellion. Feel free to chat in the other public channels with the users on the server as well. The network main channel is #swcic and another active one is #penguin, for the Penguin Server. When it asks you for a channel (~ "chatroom") you type in #swrebellion and you're in. But since people are starting to use it, it will be better for every user we get, so come on and chat and make it better, it can become more popular and you can help just by coming in to chat or idling in a channel even if you aren't viewing that screen.

the_mask Posted June 29, 2004 Posted June 29, 2004 Depends on wether you're using a software IRC client as Mirc, or the JavaApplet at swcic. If you're using the software it has to pass through the firewall, that NIS (should have) set up and the info also flows back to your IRC client again, that would be the "intrusion". At least it's the only thing, that I can think of, coming from swcic. However, don't take these warnings lightly elswhere ! You'll never know, last year I disabled my firewall for 5mins and already had the Ms blaster on my notebook, without doing anything ... TheViking Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Is theres any trafic there? Normally there is some traffic in the beginning, but when people go there and allmost every time the room is empty, they stop going there..
