Bill Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 I am, but I have no idea how to play the game. The force is strong in my family. No, Luke, I am your father.
the_mask Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 Cain is one as well and from what I've heard he also played it a bit. Alternatively you could also ask Evaders, he's a long-term member http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

the_mask Posted June 14, 2004 Posted June 14, 2004 And you still need this ICIS client, right ? Do you have to install it, or just unzip and run it ? Because if you had to install, I couldn't try it out in the uni http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 14, 2004 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 14, 2004 Former member. I disagreed with certain admin decisions about the game. As I hear, they are still making bad decisions, creating lots of cases of theft and making more people want to leave. As with any sim, it's still up and coming game. Mainly, it is about community and roleplaying. (The Combine has replaced its client with Darkness, their web-based system. So no, you don't need the ICIS anymore.) Personally, I'm proping up the Star Wars Simulation - we are a community first and a game second. Help us build the sim! the_mask Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Hmm, this sounds really good, Evaders. I think I'll give it a try, when I'm back at the uni this week and don't have to watch the time I spend online http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif
SWR Staff - Executive Evaders99 Posted June 16, 2004 SWR Staff - Executive Posted June 16, 2004 As I said, I'm speaking from experience. It took a long time for SWS to get off the ground. SWS is still in its beginnings as a game. Thus there isn't much there yet. Currently working on releasing our Character Creation bit... based on the d20 rule system. Our most active group is the Empire... coming from our time in the Combine. If you want some place where structure is set, and there is some good roleplaying, join the Empire. If you want the opportunity to build and expand a faction, join the Rebels or the Hutt Syndicates. There's no "independent" like there is in the Combine, mainly because we are about community. Hope you decide to join if you want structured roleplaying, building up a community and a game. Texas_Fett Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Man, that sounds cool. I'd join now, but I should probably wait until after I'm done with training...so, sometime next year. Five of the Greatest Lines in the Star Wars Trilogy -"As you wish..."-"He's no good to me dead..."-"What if he doesn't survive? He's worth a lot to me."-"Put Captain Solo in the Cargo Hold"-"AaaaaAAaaaaaa!!" Fett's VetteThe Lyrics
