I really must get some new Star wars books. I have just finished rereading Wraith Squadron for the seventh time and need something new to read.

Why not reread the Crystal Star or the Black Fleet Crisis seven more time???:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

Her highschool boyfriend?

Trej we get the point ok? Well umm...there are two possibilities

You're trying to kill Mad....or you're trying to make a point about how many bad star wars books there are....

[stops to take his breath]

I don't think it would be possible to read does books more than once.

And I must say that I find The Wraith Squadron series very good compared to the books you referred to higher up. The characters are very charismatic. Agamar for ever!!!

[Trej turns a nod into a head bob]

X-Wing series, in general, are great. The above-mentioned, one are definitely in the list of the unreadable...

BTW, do not challenge the great Warmaster of the Yuuzhang Vong... He could hurt you...

I think we may had one a long long time ago..

You'll get your usual ones, Crystal Star, Black Fleet, Bounty Hunter Wars, Darksaber, Children of the Jedi, Planet of Twilight, New Rebellion, Truce at Bakura, Corellian Crisis.

Oh and I forgot the Jedi Academy Trilogy... And some books from NJO (Dark Journey, especially) and the Young Jedi Knights....

Half the EU sucks, only a few authors have managed to work up the magic of Star Wars. Zahn, Allston, Stackpole have done great jobs with it. Salvatore, Luceno and Denning, have too, to some extent.

The only SW books I didn't like were any of the Ep1-2. I didn't wate time on the childrens novels so I'm not sure how they were. All of the books Trej mentioned I liked, they just weren't the "brain candy" that most SW books are so you had to sort of think while reading them. As for the Black Fleet Crisis, I read the first book and thought I was reading the second book, but it was actually the third. Strange thing is, I didn't even notice.

History is on the move, Captain. Those who cannot keep up with it will be left behind, to watch from a distance. And those who stand in our way will not watch at all.

I think it shows really bad writing if something like that can happen. But maybe I was just too bored with the actual story-line to notice?

Basically some enslaved aliens rebel against the imperials running a hidden collection of planets that no one really knew about and then want to attack the New Republic. Meanwhile, Lando is chasing after some ship that randomly moves through hyperspace. he finds it and does some stuff, gets stuck on it for a while and then gets off. The Aliens are defeated afterthier leader is thrown into hyperspace in an escape pod.

What happened to the SSD, I recall reading somewhere that it hyped into the Unknown REgions and the Chiss got away with it. :?:?:
