SWR Server Change - Feedback

Well I don't know about the rest of the world but here the down part of the page under the main banner gets 2.5 sec slower desplayed. The old server was faster ...I have now 11 Kb per sec speed here

 

 

Hey guys !.....You experience the same problem in other parts outside US ?!

 

 

Mask how is it at your home slower or faster ?

 

 

 

Edit ...The range of delays are from 1.5 sec to 6-7 sec ....depends.....anyway I was used to SWR to be the fastest site ever

I don't perceive any change in the loading times at all. Might be because I have cable modem.

I'm still sitting behind a phone line, that won't let my 56k modem connect to anything higher, than 28.8.

While at the same time on my grandmother's house the same modem connects with the usual 56k

 

I said it before and I'll say it again, I need DSL...

 

Ps: At the uni it was the usual 300 k/s

I'm seeing much speedier results, being in the US. Perhaps it is the connection from your ISP to this webhost...

 

If there remains a serious slowdown, send me the results of a tracert.

Oh Mask you have such a fast connection at home and you where complaining once I have at home 3-5 K per sec

Go back to the way it was. I'm way slower, it takes at least 8-10 sec before i get everything.

Hmmm, I'm also getting slow speeds and I have ADSL .

As for the notification - I seem to be getting notified for when ever I recieve a PM or someone's posted to a topic that I have, so I'm not experiencing that problem.

Much slower dial-up connection from home, now. I have no clue about the notifications; they're sent to my work addy, and I'm not there today. I DID check the site from Valkir's DSL connection on Saturday, and it seemed to be running pretty smoothly.

When will the notification thing be repaired? Because when you are trying to keep up with several topics it is very useful to be notified.
