What's the point of "usergroups"

Are the Usergroups sort of clans that play against each others

in torunaments in stuff, or is it just a matter of showing who your friends are?

 

Is it possible to start new usergroups with your own preferred name for the group?

They are used to organize the forums and assign groups for various purposes, notably the Members Only area for the Rebellion Reloaded team.

 

Currently, we don't have players to start such a clan. But get it organized and I may concern hosting a forum with a usergroup for clan use.
