0 Barkoa
Trejiuvanat, how do you get to get a 'jedi' or sith lord or whatever ranking? Can I only get military, or can I get into the jedi order? And is there a list of how many posts to get to each level? I just wanna know. But as Trej said, don't spam or post pointless posts or threadwaste. This might happen... http://www.jahled.co.uk/smallmonkeywars.gif
0 Barkoa
That's cool. This may not be the right forum, but do you need to be at that level to be a jedi in the RPG on this site? I'm currently playing one and got the impression that was okay. Also, when you edit a post, does that increase your rank? 0 Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
No, when you edit posts your post count does not increase, so your rank remains the same. History is on the move, Captain. 0 Barkoa
Thanx Admiral Thrawn, and may I say that he was one of my most favourite Star wars characters ever! I love the Chiss, in fact my main jedi I always use is Barkoa, (hence my name) who is a Chiss jedi! 0 Phytho
Hi I was wondering, what can I command when I become a corprel? and what rank do I need to command a medium sized cruiser? (one that has room for one squadron of fighter)(12 fighters).
0 Barkoa
I dont think it matters about your rank too much. You should be able to guess well enough about what capabilities you can do based on your rank. eg, a corporal might be in charge of a few men or a small wing of fighters, but nothing too huge. 0 Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
I'll assume you are talking about commanding in the RPG. There realy isn't a restriction on what you can do based on your forum rank, but it may be a good idea to go on that for a while. For example, if there is another member who is commanding a ship, like and ISD, and that is the course you want to take, you could be a junior officer aboard his/her ship and earn your reputation. When you are sufficiently promoted (to commodor or so) you could move to commanding a taskforce. I started as the captain of an ISD and, rather than follow my forum rank, promoted myself to admiral after two more forum ranks. Like I said, though, there isn't any restrictions, though if you'd like to be an Imperial officer, I'd be more than willing to have you aboard the my ship. If you weren't talking about the RPG, disregard all I've said above, and consider me officially stumped . History is on the move, Captain. 0 captain_brandei
So, in other words, we'll all just use this thread to jack up our post count? "I...I don't believe it!""THAT is why you fail."
0 Phytho
sounds like a good idea. though writing good posts is more interesting and challenging that just writing rubbish to get a higher ranking.
0 Grand_Admiral_Thrawn
I don't recall saying that you should use this thread forthat purpose. As a metter of fact, I think some where in here it says not to spam. I suggest you provide posts that are conductive to the topic you post in. History is on the move, Captain. That's the attitude I like. 0 SWR Staff - Executive Stratus Posted September 29, 2005 SWR Staff - Executive Share Posted September 29, 2005 Ranks are dependant on posts counts as stated before. However, if anyone is spamming you will be in big trouble. What i mean by spamming is just posting a bunch of stupid things or nothing - just one letter in each post - or a bunch of posts in a row - if you are caught doing this, one or more of the following things may happen, as I do not have patience for it: a) Your post count will be set back to 0b) You will be given a permanent unchangeable rank (of very low status)c) If you really annoy me, you will be banned from the forums. You may notice some people have ranks that aren't achievable, such as myself or other members of the SWR Admin or Support Staff teams. These are ranks we have achieved as a result of our staff positions - they are not achievable by posters. Yes I know the topic is locked, but it does not prevent admins from posting
