Canno Posted May 22, 2004 Share Posted May 22, 2004 one thing that just really bugs me about how they made this game is about how they made travel in hyper space is how long it takes for ship and personel to go from one place to anather as in game time not how long you really have to wait cuse if everthing could get from one place to anather in a day it would be a lot less about strategic fleet and speal forces deploment. its just that in the films and books it harrdly ever takes more then a day to get somewere like i'm pretty sure it only toke the death star a day or to (and thats estimating farly high) to go from Allderan to yavin not about 50 to 100 days! even from the edge of one scetor to the edge of anather scetor that is really close by still takes the fastest ships at least 20-30 days to make the trip!I have changed that when i play rebellion though all ships have there hyperdrive rateing down by abou 40 but it still takes them wwaaaaayyyyy to long to get places! Well I just really had to get that out its been bugging me sence I got the game and i'm sure others here don't like it to and if I am the only one then I'm proud to be the ferst and only though i'm sure i'm not!even if I am I still bet that others here have little things that don't matter to much that they are all really pissed off about! But in the game it would be much less strategic if you didn't have to guess the enemy fleet would go next.
