Awright, I'm almost finished with my Fey'lya, and I have a medium-sized number of pencil scribblings of Star Wars characters, mainly from the 9 X-Wing novels. So, simple question, what could I do next?

No 'All of them!' replies, please, I will make all of them eventually, but I want to know what you guys want to see first.

I will do something completely different anyway, but who cares?

We need a good card for Mara Jade... I don't like most fo the Jade cards that have been released.

I vote for Keyan Farlander or Maarek Stele. Nawara Ven would be cool, too, as would Tycho Celchu or Bror Jace, Hobbie, Janson, or Lieutenant Page.

Here are their descriptions from the CUSWE:

Farlander, Keyan

Keyan Farlander grew up on Agamar, and was indifferent to the ways of the galactic government until Mon Mothma came to the planet to gain underground support for the Alliance. Farlander received a copy of the A Call to Reason pamphlet, and it turned his mind to the Alliance. He joined up, and decided the he wanted to be a starfighter pilot. As an untrained Alliance starpilot on his first mission, Keyan helped recover important Imperial documents by disabling the Imperial shuttle Talon near Turkana. He proved his incredible piloting skills there as well, and went on to become one of the Alliance's premier pilots. He was instrumental in raids on a number of Imperial outposts, and was part of the team that fled to Yavin 4 to prepare for battle against the Death Star. While on Yavin 4, Keyan helped familiarize Luke Skywalker on the controls of the X-Wing. He was one of the few survivors of the Battle of Yavin, piloting a Y-Wing during the fighting and fleeing the destruction of the first Death Star with Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, and the Millennium Falcon. Keyan continued to serve the Alliance, and later the New Republic, as a military officer and advisor. Because of his uncanny skills, Keyan was tested by Luke Skywalker for a connection to the Force, which revealed that Keyan was possible Jedi material. He trained for many years at the Jedi praxeum on Yavin 4, and eventually earned the rank of Jedi Knight. By the time of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, Farlander had been promoted to General. He served under Admiral Traest Kre'fey aboard the Ralroost during the period following the Battle of Coruscant, working to implement the plans of Admirals Sovv, Ackbar, and Kre'fey. (X-Wing: The Farlander Papers; Ylesia; Star Wars Insider 63; Unifying Force)

Stele, Maarek

only son of Kerek and Marina Stele, Maarek grew up like most young boys on backwater planets, racing swoops at breakneck speeds in his spare time. After the abduction of his father, Maarek and his mother hid in one of the planet's lesser-known cities, until his participation in a swoop stunt provided Maarek's name to the Bordali. They sent Gwadj to kidnap Maarek and Marina, but the Empire chose that very moment to invade the Taroon System. Maarek was taken away and conscripted as a repair technician. After a few months, Maarek was sufficiently knowledgeable about TIE fighters that he was allowed to take them for test runs after finishing repairs. On one such flight, near Farboon, he was the only fighter launched when Admiral Mordon's shuttle was intercepted by Alliance starfighters. Maarek came to his rescue, and was given a chance to become an Imperial pilot. He jumped at the chance, and went on to become one of the Empire's most fearsome TIE pilots. When Arden Lyn joined rogue Admiral Zaarin in an attempt to kidnap Emperor Palpatine, Maarek provided support to Darth Vader himself in preventing the coup. This earned him the attention of the Emperor, who recognized that Maarek had some sensitivity to the Force. He was later trained by the Prophets of the Dark Side, earning the rank of Tan, and in the wake of the Battle of Endor, he served with the 181st Imperial Fighter Group under Soontir Fel. (TIE Fighter: Defender of the Empire {the Stele Chronicles}; Star Wars Gamer, Issue 5, WotC)

Essentially, they were the 'heroes' of the X-Wing and TIE Fighter computer games. They were who 'you' were supposed to be as you played the game. Their individual perspectives on the Galactic Civil War were included with the strategy guides for the games. Farlander's story for the Rebellion was told in "The Farlander Papers", while Stele's was told in "The Stele Chronicles". Farlander is the only one to appear in any other medium, however.

Sorry; I don't see anything. Just a red 'X'.

Edit: Interesting...when I copy and paste the link, I see the picture, and then hitting 'back' causes it to appear here in the forums.

Sorry; must've been something on my end. Great pic!
