Longprobe?

Has anyone ever thought of replacing the Longprobe Y-Wing with the T-65-R Reconaissance X-Wing? All it would take was some change of artwork.

Should I do that?

I say, "Go for it!" In fact, there may even be a card for it already. If not, then by all means, create one and upload it!

There's no card with an actual picture of a T-65R. Also, I can't find a picture ANYwhere. I know there's at least one in a comic, I could use that one as a reference to photoshop-edit an X-wing, but I don't have the comic and I can't FIND THE PIC!

I believe I have a comic featuring it: "Rogue Squadron: In the Empire's Service". Flown by Nrin Vakil, if I remember right. My father-in-law has a scanner, and I could probably use it, but I won't get a chance to get over there for at least a week. Sorry.

Finished - for now. Started with a render of a conventional X-Wing and added the sensor thingies in Photoshop. Couldn't have been easier.

Thanks to Thumper for providing the scans I needed. The smaller BMPs are not yet finished, but I'll let you know when they are.

EDIT: And, just to be fair, NO, that model is not mine. I didn't build or render it. I googled for an X-Wing pic with closed S-foils, and used this result as my base.
