Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

I don't know if any of you have had a chance to play this game, but if you haven't, you most definitely should! It's so much more than the old RS for the Nintendo 64, but I won't bore you with info you can get from any review. Suffice to say, it rocks! Although, guess I should say that perhaps its best feature is the inclusion of the complete version of Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, but as cooperative. It also has a vs. mode, allowing you to dogfight with a buddy.

 

One thing which may be of interest here, is this image, or more specifically the capital ship in the top middle. It's not the best image, but it's the best one I could find of that ship. I've done this mission, and the game calls that ship an Imperial Escort Carrier! I've never seen it before, and the games surely shouldn't be taken as 'canon', but it does make for an interesting topic for debate.

The Ship is an Imperial Escort Carrier used by the imperial commandos how are supposed to steal new technologies for the empire. They are the center of Wedges scenario.
