I played a early demo last year and the gameengine is incredible.

the grafx look certainly breathtaking. But what this about you only being able to control 10 ships ? Are there starfighters as well in the game ?

Yeah there are fighters and bombers etc. pp.

 

And yes... Just 10 ship's. (In the original game)

 

But that can be changed. (Mod)

Originally started as Imperium Galactica 3, later renamed as Galaxy Andromeda and later renamed as Nexus ... There were so many problems and changes around that game ...

Yes, it is a hungarian development. I'm not sure if it could be used as Reb2 however. Let's wait for some more screenshots. It sure looks promising.

Ahh, so that's where IG 3 went.

I've seen the videos and screenshots, when it still had that name and then suddenly I read, that it had been stopped and might be continued under a new publisher.

Its 1.5 years old. But still KICKS ASS.

 

I wonder how much progress they made in these 1.5 years.
