Guys, I'm looking for a model of a space platform seen in TIE Fighter intro, has anyone got it? Or knows where to find? Or works on it?

How I make TIE Fighter to work on a PIV with integrated "soundblaster" on the main bord (Mercury)

 

The game can't find the sound board and when I give "none" I get a message in a window named "Stack overflow" !? when I try to play the game]

 

Any chance for me ?

If TF doesn't work, how do you know what I'm talkin' about?

Old games like TF are certain that a sound board has IRQ (5,7,9), two DMAs, a midi port and integrated ones have only IRQ. There are several cards that can emulate this, like my SB. So you have to find such card, or an old one, or search for some prog to emulate...

I hope someone here can help me with this. I htought I had backed-up all of the models and textures for each ship in the original game, but it turns out that I missed two.

 

If anyone has or can easily get the model & texture for the Star Galleon and Bulk Cruiser and mail 'em to me, I'd much appreciate it. I know I can simply unstall Rebellion and reload, but I'd like to save all the trouble of going through all the Dll's correcting truncated strings and re-loading all my other models.

he,he ....the tactical.dll is on the CD in his original form just copy /paste him to a spec. location and remouve the read/only option in that file

I had just assumed that since your tutorial suggests that people back them up, someone might have a copy available...of course, you know what happens when you assume.

You wanna know a way, that will get the job done in ~5 mins ?

Select 'Save [301] resources' and save the .rc file it prompts you with in an empty folder.

Do that as well for the 303 folder and after converting the .bins with vakundok's program (I think there's an all .bin-> .bmp option) you throw the textures into the model folder and presto.

 

Now all I'm missing in that post is that music, that's always playing on appearances of Copperfield

Man, I've really got to toy around more with ResHack. Here I was, convinced it'd be this big pain in the keister, when all it really takes is...{grumble, grumble}. Man, I need more sleep.
