Guest Scathane Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Just saw it on video last night. There's a funny thing in it... The movie starts with an XTC shipment being loaded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In the port of Amsterdam, there's a guy calling on a 'Dutch' payphone... The funny thing is that the payphone is painted bright green and blue, which are the corporate colours of the KPN, the only real Dutch telecom company, but the logo on the payphone reads Dutch Telecom instead of KPN Telecom, which it does in reality. Hence, the KPN probably didn't have enought money to pay for the total product placement package in this movie and settle for their corporate colours instead...

the_mask Posted February 18, 2004 Posted February 18, 2004 Hmm, the dvd should be available in Germany next month, so I gotta wait at least two weeks, until I can finally see it. I missed it in the cinema. Last Samurai ? Some buddies of mine watched it and thought it was quite good, although they didn't like the end. Maybe I manage to see it, before it's gone from the screen. http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5183/animated9pn.gifhttp://img146.imageshack.us/img146/1778/reloadedbannerdu8.gifhttp://www.swrebellion.com/images/banners/rebellionbanner02or6.gif

The movie as such is brilliant but the ending could have been better (i.e., they should have stopped somewaht earlier in the movie).
