Picture help for Event Dll's

Using Mask's new dlls script for RebEd (found on his site), it is simplicity itself to replace the event pictures in the game. A few pictures are missing (like the one for when the Alliance HQ arrives at its new destination, among others), but it's amazing how many of them you are actually able to toy with.

 

That said, I'm having difficulty finding all of the replacement pictures for events in the game that I desire to change. So far, I have replaced the hanger pics for the Imperials and most of Luke's event pics. I have some good pictures for the following:

* the 'foiled mission' picture for the Rebels (you Rebel scum!) & Imperials (No, wait! I've got an idea!)

* the 'captured Rebel character' pic

* the 'retire character' pic for the Imperials (just think, "You've failed me for the LAST...TIME, Admiral... )

* Leia's encounter with Vader

* the injured character pic

* the Rebel sabotage pic

 

However, I'm having difficulty finding pictures for the following (I'm not even sure you can replace some of these pictures):

* A 'captured Imperial' pic

* A 'retire Rebel character' pic (I thought of using pictures of the deleted scene between Luke & Biggs for this one)

* The '{blank} character has died' pictures for both sides

 

In addition, I'm specifically trying to find a picture of Han Solo, just after he lures out the garrison at the Endor Bunker, where he shrugs his shoulders and appears to do his best "Fonzie" impression from "Happy Days". I have the one a few frames after this, the view from in front of the Imperial Squad as the Ewoks emerge, but not the one with Han.

 

I've done Google & Yahoo! image searches, I've looked in the Massassi Temple site, Han Solo-specific sites...nuthin'. Any help or suggestions in finding these pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yap I usualy use the Masks program (ResourceViewer Igues ...from his site ) because Res Hak usualy crashes.... and I go and replace after with the RebEd...can you post here what you have ..a link for ex....are you doing a TC ?

Sorry, no can do, Cain. I'm definitely not web-savvy enough create my own web site (despite the fact that I'm paying for 10 megs of space specifically for a web site, yet haven't the cajones to attempt anything with it). And besides, what I'm doing couldn't be considered a 'total' conversion. I'm leaving the game in the same time period (Rebellion era), and not attempting to change the story at all. The only things I'm changing are the pictures, the ships, and the characters to better reflect what I feel SHOULD have been included in the game to begin with.

 

However, there's enough time and effort involved in even this little bit of change that it may as well be a total conversion. It has certainy taken up enough of my time to where I don't have enough for other games or projects. It's worth it, though, since it makes my Rebellion playing sessions that much more fun.

...Still ...if you have 10 mb on a server you only need to make a directory in your space upload the files there ( No need for a website) and usualy poot here the link ....they download automaticly.....you only need to see if that space alows for linking See my avatar properties and don't forget to poot [.] betwen the words .....if not you will have a huge link sentence

Building a small website is also not that hard

If you got Frontpage, that would be the easiest way, cause it practically handles like Word.

You just write your text, insert a few pictures, arrange that in tables (because this way you can arrange the stuff better) and for the downloadable files you insert a hyperlink.

After saving everything on your hdd and viewing it with a browser to make sure it looks the way you want it, you upload it to your webspace and presto

Yours actually gets up to 28.8?!? Mine's lucky to get up to 5 kb/sec for data transfers. Of course, the connection says it's connected at a speed of about 50-55...

Nope 28.8 means about 2kb/sec. The 5k you get is what mine should give me with the 56k connection, since that's the theoretical maximum for that kind of modem.

Back then, when the competition for the best punchline was running I was under the top 10 with the 'like my father' line. It's a bummer, that the list with the top 20 punchlines for each comic was lost, when JC had to switch to a new host.
