I did not know about all the horrible things that companies do in order to test their products - using animals in order to test the adverse affects of their products. I just thought that some of you might be interested in a list of companies that do test their products on animals. I have many of these companies’ products in my house, but I will no longer be buying anything from them. Please help in this movement and do the same. If enough people stop supporting them maybe they will get the message that what they are doing is wrong.

What do you all think of this issue. Do you think that animal testing is ok, or that is is wrong? Why?

Being on the light side of the force, I agree, that it's a shame that companies test their products on animals. Like a comedian once said: "I knew that a dog with lipstick looks ludicrous beforehand".

The problem is, finding companies that really don't do that. I mean almost every company is somehow an "offspring" of a larger one, which is controlled by another one and so on :?

If you look long enough I'm sure that even a company like Microsoft is involved in animal testing.

It's a horror to see these pictures of mistreated animals and to know that this is real and not just the outcome of a sick special effect, but I don't know if we can really do anything about it :(

Principally against animal testing... But I do feel that we should be conscious of the fact that product prices will rise if such testing is not done.

An alternative would be desperately needed, like a database with the effects, that certain chemicals have on tissue, skin, ...

But that were possible already I think at least some companies would do it :(
