I want to know general opinions about the TC

 

It help's to hear old jedi opinions

I've designed the TC to be hard and more a patch than a TC.

It is made with MS.Paint ....you better believe it! ...

To my surprise it seems like the AI has become to wise up.....it is very aggressive and if you are on "expert" you will be on defense

for a long time !

 

If you play Protectorate....hmmm....you will never let it go....is true....because it is Rebellion and feels like it....or maybe I’m rung ?

 

I am working now at the : Rebellion The Remnant

and prepare your self for the third series : Rebellion The Emperor's Return

 

PS. Impossible for me is now to make CAIN to cain ..... sorry Evaders

My PC is a little shagged at the moment, so I must confess to not being at liberty to have a good look at your effort. I will however take the time to commend you for your contribution to the game we all love, and look forward to having a go with your TC as soon as my PC is replaced by something...that is'normal.'

 

BTW: Where the heck are you from, besides Romania? Never heard of it!

...I have a question for you : It is ok to think about parallel dimensions in Rebellion ?!

Some people can't accept this and I have some criticism about this and I’m not happy....

Should I go back to our dimension ?

 

I promise you if you check the TC it will be a nice surprise

 

PS. Because of this sadness I’ve stop the work at Rebellion The Remnant....

 

BTW and Romania is a country made by 3 Prov. Transylvania, Muntenia and Moldova (+Dobrogea)

I've had so far no time to check the difficulty of the AI, but having a good struggle fom the beginning will be a good thing to have for a change.

I am planing to play it again today TK421....the TC..if i build so much I do not have the time to play...it is one of my friends ho play it and he has complain to me about version 2.0 that it is to hard and he is alwais in defence do you belive it ?!

 

True it is that all my plan was to give more time for the AI and I think I have created a "monster"

 

.....with a fair fight it will be difficult to defeat it.....

 

The TC game is balanced I hear.....so maybe ,maybe I hit the jakpot

and increase the difficulty of the game

 

PS.besides new ships I have repaird many cards for example The Interdictor,The Imperial Destroyers,the dark troopers...even the face of Ozzel....for a fact I can't remember how many

 

The alternative dimension was the only way to make Luke more atracted to the dark side since the time line in the first dimension is impposible to change,stil this give's me the possibility to have a surprise in the third series when the identity of the dimension traveller will be revealed:).......gtg to clas now

*About Rebellion*

 

...I have asked my self many times : Why still do I play this game ?

it seems that it has something to do with the filling of the game...it is very relaxing no ?!....also you can conquer the galaxy and you have to think to do it not to use blasters ....hmmm....I will not be a surprise if many of you guys like to play sometimes chess ?

I think we have the staff of Great Commanders ...maybe admirals...we love to think big ,very big indeed.....galaxy scale ....

Perhaps you could give more of the backstory for the Protectorate? I'm not getting the alternate dimensions thing (haven't played it because working on TC of my own.) If you mean you have an alternative time track (IE Luke joins dark side) I think that's not uncommon. If you have Star Trek invading the Star Wars universe... yeah, that might ruffle feathers for reasons too complicated to get into with out a good lager or two.

 

But hey... many enjoy a good Star Wars/Trek mix.

- People I designed this TC for me to play it ....so it is good...believe me!

 

I had no clue that I will be able to post it...if it wasn't for Stratus and Evaders you guy's will never enjoy it...and you know Evaders it very selective regarding the quality of a TC before posting and in general

 

About the next one.... hmmm I will leave it a surprise for all

 

About the alternative thing ...hmmm I am not such a great fan of the mix of Star Wars with Star Trek..... Personal I hate it... an also I hate the interference of Star Trek designs in some Star Wars universes.... (I do not hate Star Trek by the way)

The designs from Star Wars are more realistic ...I could say more practical... huh...anyway, were was I ?!.....a..... about Protectorate read the Info Word file and it will give you some clue about the TC....MY MAJOR goal was to let the Rebellion stile *Rebellion* in the TC and I had gone to the extremes of design and work to be able to make something new using only the old

.....if you will see it you will know what I am talking about

 

About the alternate dimension ...hmmm...the player comes from this one ( like in the movie "The One" ) and now .....I have decided that in the last of my TC's he *the dimension traveler* will came back in this one with vengeance.

Since the time line will be so far away that he will not be obstructed by any previeous script made by anywane regarding Star Wars so all of you .... the nondimension guys will feel at home

 

Excuse my tone , it is a such a nasty whether here ( like Siberia) and it is getting to my bones...you barely can walk and I had to go to work and not all my students made it.......so the school day is ruined

 

PS. I wish you the best of luck in the making of your TC and I hardly wait to see it

 

PPS If some cadet's like to get involved in the making of Rebellion The Remnant they are welcome (just PM me) since not all of us have the time to make an entire TC but they have the coolest ideas lost in their PC

....well Mask if you want and you are not just makeing fun ..... send me your pic, your armor or uniform and I will manufacture you an avatar in the Mangal dimension design facilities:) it will be same size and you only must tell me if you want Imperial or Alliance background..... Just place the order and I will send my protectors to do it

 

If there are any new costumers ho desire to place an order ..... hmmm.....they have to pay whit anything that they consider to be cool or nice ( like a new card ,new textures, site addresses, even jokes or Rebellion info data :)

lol....maybe I can reformulate Chimera I am sure that Evaders will post your TC ,you said that you've worked so hard and this will be enough for him,I gues...after all Evader is not such a difficult guy ....and there are others ho will look at your TC before posting so I'm positive that the TC will be judged corectly.

 

 

btw. Can you tell us some about your TC so we can make and idea about the story ?

I should inform you that all the wepons in the Remnant TC will be done by DeathSquire36 also known by MSN as "T.5 Boyle" the builder of Real Settings v.1.....and btw all empire ships are redy except one.

Well, I can't hide behind the scenes forever, can I? I'd be DeathSquire36, and yes, I did do Real Settings v1 and I'm currently doing the weapons for Cain's Remnant TC.

 

Chimera- I'll be moving Real Settings to a better server in a few days, but as for right now, even though the site says it's not available, simply Right Click on the link and select Save Target As... That should do the trick. If it still doesn't work, just send me an email at petc36@yahoo.com and I'll send you a copy of the upgraded version Real Settings v1.1.

 

Also, keep your eyes open for Real Settings v1.2 to be released in the Remnant TC by Cain, and look for the best of the best, with new models, Real Settings v2 in an upcoming release! See you guys later.

Yap....DeathSquire36 is doing the weapons In the Remnant And also the models in The Emperor's Return ...about the C3PO I already asked DeathSquire36 to help me but it is possible to team up with us since the project is really big.....and imagine you will find your self in the position to writhe the Scenario for the Trilogy ...just ask DeathSquire36 to email you the bit's of story that I have already send it to him and you can let your imagination free and fill up the script......a also thanks Mask but I realize that you are to tide up to the Reloaded to take more of your time ..... again thanks Big Brother

You asked me about models ....hey DS is doing them so you could join if he wants the pictures and sound is more that I can handle for now.

 

hmmm....since I have the time let me tell it to you ....the story

 

 

It goes like this :

 

 

When the Emperor died here in that storm of energy all that power combined with the Death Star core and created a gate between this dimension and the Mangal dimension. By this gate the essence of the Emperor escaped .

 

In the mangal dimension the empire was building two Death Stars at the same time so the gate opened in the second Death Star overloading the core and discharging in to the nearest person ...an Imperial officer...

 

If you see the time line is not parallel because by the time that the Emperor dies here there they only started the creation of the Death Star .

 

The discharge ruined the second death star and pots this one on hold.

 

that Imperial officer ho btw I do not know his name ....didn't feel anything but for real he was now Emperor Palpatine in stasis . The real emperor from here felt that this imperial was to be trusted so he constantly promoted him until by the time of the destruction of the first death star he will be appointed grand admiral.

 

this plus in the dark side in this dimension has made also Luke to shift to it but not for long * see the info from The Protectorate *

 

So when this emperor dies here in mangal his energy awakens our admiral ho realizes ho he really is.....

 

and now come the Remnant part .....the admiral cannot say ho he is but his essence situation becomes unstable so he searches for a way to go back in the first dimension and the empire starts a project for a dimension gate based on the Star Forge technology ho I this dimension has remained preserved some ware. He never said that this was a dimension gate just a new shield type for the death star .

 

The story goes around the game Jedi Knight 2 and the major characters will be from there....Kyle takes Leia place ....and that admiral (forget for the moment his name the place of the emperor (in rebed) and the second evil character is still open.

 

It is possible to ad that Emperor admiral as character but since he/you commands the fleet .....if he gets captured ho will command it after ....he form prison ?!

 

 

at the end of the Remnant This Emperor manage to get back here in a ship via the new dimension gate but before this is destroyed ...a New Republic ship gets in also with protectors regiments and some caracters.

 

 

see the time line here is after the Remnant or at his end + and I mean + the time from then to the start of the creation of the first death star....that means remnant+3 years ..?! I do not know...and also I do not now ho is in charge here by then...

 

 

Chimera I will love if you do the script and maybe join up just speak with DeathSquire36 since he has to approve this also

 

Do the scenario and I'm positive that it will be great in fact I will reserve only 15% right to change it after you make it.

Sounds like a complicated plot, but I can give it a try!

 

I assume the game will begin with the Emperor/Admiral returning to his original dimension? Or will the "Luke goes to Dagoba" event be rewritten as the Emperor goes to another dimension? (If so, you'd have the problem of the game starting without the Emperor on Coruscant...)

 

Is there any way to disable the "Luke goes to Dagoba" event? 'Cause it would make TC writing a lot easier.

 

As for my TC... I just downloaded gmax (took all night, I've got a lousy ISP). I'll see if I can make sense of it, and then give my models another go... I'll also look into swapping the special event pictures and most of the sounds.

Well the plan is like this

 

What I wrote up is the skeleton and I need you to make ...the flesh of the Trilogy......btw.do not worry about Luke&Yoda in the Remnant it will be that admiral ho fight's with Kyle from the Jedi Knight 2 against Luke or Luke goes to Leia ho is pregnant with Solo You name it...also for the Emperor's Return pls. speak with DeathSquire36 since he is working now there. Also I want to know if you are in or not (the team)

 

I have decided now that DeathSquire36 is full partner (he doesn’t know this btw and also he will have the honor to name the Trilogy as he whishes, so pls. before to start the writhing the full story talk also with him since it is important to do that

 

- DeathSquire , my friend tell me what you think ...are you ok with Chimera in the project Yes/No ? Also write the name of the trilogy because I'm curious.

 

In the rest I will begin to work on the New Republic Ships Now.

 

PS. about your TC I knew that you will want to improve something....I did that to (imagine that the Protectorate is version v2.1 ! )....but you will have to stop one day.

Cain, I would be happy to be full partner to this trilogy. Also, although I emailed it to you already, I think STAR WARS: MANGAL REBELLION sounds kind of catchy. Right?

 

To Chimera, Cain, and anyone else interested:

 

Progress is going well right now. I'm waiting for Cain to finalize the cards and units involoved in the second installment, the Remnant. As soon as he finishes I will be implementing a new, realistic weapon configuration that keeps the game intense but also realistic.

Progress on the third installment, the Emperors Return, is going even better. I've already completed the models for three of the new ships, and one is already textured. Expect to see some nice things coming up soon. See you all later.
