I'm married and have a little one, love to sing harmony in a barbershop quartet, and when it comes to SWR, I'm willing to play (and stream) solo and multiplayer as a way to showcase the game and various strategies.

I am French and I have been playing for about fifteen years. I have already come several times on your site to download rebed and cards. I saw that you also made some nice evolutions for the game.

In France, the project was to make a prelude rebellion and aprélogie as faithful as possible. We ran into some problems including increasing or decreasing the number of fighters to put (limit to 4), putting proton torpedoes to ships, adding an axial cannon on ships... that rebed cannot change.

Do you have any advice to help me find a solution? Do you use software to go into the rebellion files to change more things about the game?

I’ve also seen some changes in the texture of vessels, and I’ve seen new vessels. I haven’t been able to see how you do it. Can you tell me more? Can I take some of your work?

What a great and pleasant surprise to see a still active community for a relatively old but oh so great game!

I've stumbled on this website whilst trying to make SWR work on windows7. I've been meaning to play this game again with a friend but encountering install problems, and once they were sorted, connection problems - which we are still having. The exact issue is that we cannot see eachothers game when trying to connect TCP/IP. We are using RELOADED 2.0.

I will look on the forums for fixes but if anybody can help me (or direct me to the proper thread) that would be great!

I used to play Empire at War but the depth bores me, I really do like the depth of Rebellion and that's why I play the crap out of it.

I got it from a CD copy of the original version....I think my Uncle said that something happened to the disk and he backed up the files just in case (and it is perfectly legal to make a back-up disc, actually)

Why do I tell you this? I am 16, and this MIGHT surprise you...! Most people my age can barely use the patience taken to play a game like Rebellion, as I've observed.

But, anyway, one of the main reasons I've posted on the forum is that I'm a bit bored of playing the AI. I know multi-player transitions are hard but I've done it for many games like "Company of Heroes" and Competitive "Team Fortress 2". (I also did Empire at War somewhat competitively, used to be really good at 1v1).

Longtime Rebillion and Starwars Nut here. I love all things StarWars and have read most of the novels, Played all the RPGs, played all the video games at one time or another and Just discovered REB ED this month. Since then I have been playing around with cards and adding new ships to my games and trying them out. I would like to figure out how to do the 3d modeling and how to use the Importer for that but right now i need more time, that I don't have to figure that out.

Anyways love Rebillion and now the fact that I know about REB ED adds a whole new dimension to the Game.

I played Rebellion back in the day when it was still new-ish. Great game, though it lacked a little polish and the space battles were a bit clunky.

Anyway, I’m trying to get back into it but I have a small issue...

I’m a mac user now.

Is there a mod or a way to play Rebellion on a mac aside from getting windows?

Well im a newbie, and a young newbie at that lol.

I have played strategy games since I was 4-5 ? something like that. Starting out playing Age of Empires II. Fun times..... anyway. 17 now and looking to get back into yet another game I had fun with in my youngerness!

Never played online however so newbie!
