Salvaged Card Art

I was, at one point, working on my own simple total conversion, but I don't think i'll ever get round to finishing it.

There were a couple of cards I made that somone might want to take and work on for this reloaded project.

I was, in particular, kind of proud of some rebel pilot cards I made. They were all based on publicity shots or video captures that have already been used for cards, but all those cards looked awkward because the images were cropped in such a way that required the creators to blow them up to a size that wasn't consistant with the other cards.

What was different about mine was the time I put into building those cropped out areas, usually the tops of helemts.

If somone would like them, send me a PM with your e-mail and i'll send you the bitmaps, or explain how to post the cards. I've never got that to work.

Now, there is obviously a dilemma here.. half of them will be from books/comics and the other half from the movies (or maybe games).

How do we keep all our characters looking the same? Wouldn't it be weird if we had one card with Han Solo from the movie, and another with Daala from the comics?

Does anyone know of a way of making movie characters appear more comic drawn perhaps?

Or have you any alternate suggestions?

The idea of this thread is to give somewhere for the team to post saying what progress they have made, so that people not on the team have a feel for what's being done, and also to let them feel like we're getting somewhere.

It also provides somewhere for encouragement and congratulations of the team.

Main Characters.

I would suggest using the same main characters for the New Republic ( Leia, Luke, Han and Mon Mothma ), seeing they where all around at the time.

For the Empire, i suggest we use Joruus C'Baoth as the Emperor, because their voices could sound very similar ( since they're both old and stuff ) and ofcourse, Thrawn as Vader.

We might have to record some small wav files to use for Thrawns speech, but thats more of an advanced option we could do when we're done with everything else. ( yes i've changed the sounds before. The Length needs to be exactly the same )

( Changing Coruscant to Wayland, and Yavin to Coruscant, so they start at believable places )

What about force rating increase

Is there any way that we could have BOTH sides with characters that would increase in force ranking with failures (ala Luke and Leia)?

By doing this we can thus finalize the list of the characters to be (hopefully) included in the TC.

Creating Cards For Rebellion II

If we are using the same card creation process for Rebellion II then I can get started on some.

If that's alright then I need to know where to start.

What chars do we need for it. Let me know and I will create a few and you can let me know if they make the cut.

New Encyclopedia Bacground?

We now have this Blue/Black background with Imperial or Rebel logo. Shouldn't we use a different background? If necessary, we could make at least red/black or something.

Just a detail, but not much work for a lot of fun!
